Teeth and Hiking!

Hyat cut his second tooth, also on the bottom, last Sunday. He officially has teeth and not just a tooth! He is continuing to grow and keep us entertained. He gets closer and closer to crawling everyday and has even managed to obtain some forward motion, though it is not an orthodox crawl. In addition to crawling he has discoverd that he can move from the sitting position to the crawling postion and back to sitting. His ability to learn and conquer new tasks is amazing. He also learned to effectively feed himself and just loves getting food from his little hands to his mouth. He still misses on occassion, but Boat and Bella lay anxiously in wait for clean up duty.

We had a great weekend last weekend. We went for a family hike on Saturday. Headed up Truman's Gulch on the west side of Bridgers. It was absolutely beautiful and a great hike for all, even the dogs and Hyat. Then on Sunday we went and beat the heat by floating the Madison River. It was a bit of a circus with all the tubers, but quite entertaining.

Tonight we are off to the Livingston Rodeo with a bunch of friends. They have a great rodeo followed by a spectactular fireworks display. There are some great things about small towns in Montana. Lucky for us my mom is going to cover babysitting duty tonight!

HAPPY 4th OF JULY TO ALL!
