Embrie has hit the nine month mark. It is hard to believe how fast she is growing up. We had her nine month well check on Friday and she is a healthy baby. She is petite only falling into the 5th percentile on weight (15 lbs 2 ozs) and length ( ins). She is still squeeking a lot and is now babbling with lots of dadas, babas, grunts, squeels and baby gabber. Here are few quick facts about Embrie at nine months:
1. Still has no teeth
2. Is affectionately referred to as fuzzball
3. Still is not crawling but can be seen thinking about it
4. Will not roll from her front to her back (even though she can)
5. Has a beautiful belly laugh
6. Hates being put in her carseat
7. Likes to play with whatever Hyat has
8. Will scream when Hyat takes something away from her (even if he asks nicely)
9. Managed to poop for every diaper change but one yesterday
On Friday our doctor commented that Embrie was very observant and quite the thinker. She can often be seen wide-eyed studying what is going on around her. As with Hyat, we often get comments on how alert she is. She isn't crawling yet, but I would guess that she would be in the next month or so. I think she will be happier when she does because she would love to follow Hyat around and she hates when she gets left behind. I am not sure what two mobile children looks like...
