While we were on Long Island we took the kiddos to the Long Island Game Farm & Wildlife Park.  We had considered driving into NYC and going to the Bronx Zoo, like my sister and I had been so fortunate to do in our youth.  But decided this trip better suited the ages of our kids and would save use some driving time.  We say leemers, alligators, zebras, kangaroos, giraffes, lions, monkey.  There were also deer, goats, elk, pigs and other farm animals, but those weren't quite as exciting for these Montana kids!  

It was interesting that here you get to feed the animals.  The kids got a kick out of and really enjoyed seeing all of the animals. And the pictures:
