Great G'ma Mary, Great Uncle Phil and Aunt Patty recently made it to Bozeman for a visit. We enjoyed visiting them with them and eating really good food while they were here. But in addition to the food and the good company, we also enjoyed going to the MSU Spring Rodeo! We went last year and the kids certainly enjoyed it, but this year they were both much more engaged for the entire time. It was a great time and we enjoyed spending the time together.
The kids really enjoyed all the events (and the popcorn), but, of course, the bull riding was the highlight of the rodeo. They watched intently and every time the bull bucked a rider off (which was more often than not) Embrie would start shaking a finger and hollering "Bad bull! Bad, bad bull!" Hyat thoroughly enjoyed the bulls and as we left was telling me that he was going to ride bulls. And, as children do, over the following days there was a lot of pretend rodeo with bulls, buck'n broncs and steer wresting.
