Please tell me its not always in 3s

If it always happens in 3s, I am going to go hide under a rock. First, my firm has had a major change in their insurance plan and it, unfortunately, is not really beneficial to me right now. Really this change would not be so bad if I wasn't coming up on the 8th month of pregnancy and pennies away from full coverage... all to be lost by the switch. Sigh, we remain optimistic and are thankful to have employer provided insurance. Next, our fridge kicked the bucket! Yesterday morning is started making a new noise - we check the owners manual and it descibed all references to buzzing, vibrating, etc as "normal." Knowing it was not normal, we kept wondering what it was. Well, finally last night it became clear it was no longer doing its job as our ice starting melting and foods were defrosting and warming. Sigh, the appliance repair man kindly came by today only to inform us that us our fridge is fixable - it needs a new compressor, but that fixing it might not be the best investment as we would be over half way to new fridge with a new warranty and a better track record than the model we have. So rather than Hyat and I getting Buck some outstanding father's day gift we are going refridgerator shopping! Sigh.... at least we weren't on vacation when it happened.

My only question is if its 3s, what's next?

I hate when things break. It's such a bummer to have to spend money on boring house stuff! Yes, be glad for employer insurance. We have private because Jerry is self-employed. Not good.
