A big weekend...

Hyat had a big weekend surrounding his 2nd birthday! On Saturday, we gave Hyat his present... a new "bike!" Hyat has always loved being pulled in the bike cart and will sit on my bike whenever we let him, so we decided that we would get him trike. As you can see, this one comes with a parent handle to help push him. Even though he can just barely reach the peddles, he loves to ride his bike. He gets really excited when you get his helmet out because he knows he going for a bike ride. He can only peddle a couple of strokes, but is getting the hang of it.

After getting his bike, we went to friends Karley and Weston's for dinner. There he got his second birthday present - Cowboy boots! He loves boots and was very excited about his cowboy boots, not only because they are cowboy boots, but because they light up when he walks

(or stomps)! We quickly discovered that they were size 8 (Hyat is barely in a size 6). Weston thought those were the cooest ones, so they got them for him to grow into...hopefully, he doesn't wear them out before they fit! It should be great and we hope they fit in time for him to wear them to ride Vern next summer!
