From lunch we headed to the railroad station to catch our ride on Thomas. There we also met our dear friends Erin, Aaron and Emma. Thomas arrived shortly thereafter and we were able to catch up with my dad. It was also at this point that my dad and Buck both had to point out that it was Father's Day and get in some moaning about certain people's failure to act, or even wish them a happy Father's Day. As I said before, little did Buck know that his plane ride to Durango would be all he got for Father's Day. I did wish my dad and Buck a happy day and got Hyat to do the same, but it was a little late.
We enjoyed the ride on Thomas with friends and family!
The only picture we got of just the family... Getting ready to leave the station.
Hyat after riding and just getting a Thomas tattoo!
Engineer Grandpa and Hyat (Hyat now thinks Grandpa drives every train we see)!
Cody, Steph and Raine (it was short, but great to see these guys)!
Grandma and Embrie - just being cute!
The whole gang!
Hyat and a goofy Grandpa!
Cindy and Embrie enjoying the ride.
Cousins! Hyat and Raine got along just like a couple of cousins.
The Hyder family on Thomas!
After riding Thomas, we headed out to Wayne's house to drop off some stuff and get organized to meet friends for a little BBQ at the park. It also gave the kiddos a good chance to squeeze in a nap. We then met up with Cody, Steph and Raine, Desire and her daughter Kayla, Jenn, Cindy, and my mom and dad. We had a nice time relaxing in the park, grilling burgers and giving the kids a chance to play.
Desiree and her sweet baby girl - we are glad we got to see them and meet this little one.
Gandma and Grandpa relaxin'
Jeni and a couple of really cute cousins!
It was another great day, and I was really thankful the next day wouldn't require much driving!
