I think it is fair to say that we have a family tradition. It includes a $5 tag, snow, Karley and Weston and tromping through the woods to find our Christmas tree. This year we headed up to Hyalite Reservoir and cut a tree for our house and one for my parents. We picked a beautiful day and headed out with the kids in tow and Karley and Weston. We are really excited that next year Karley won't just be packing that baby in her belly, but we will have another kiddo in our troop!

After much convincing and promises of hot chocolate, Hyat took
another trip in the sled. This time with his goggles and without massive
powder shots. He liked it! |

Simply put, it was another great adventure in the snow! After cutting our tree down and getting home, it was all we could do to get Hyat to take a nap before we decorated. The excitement of a three year old was contagious and we decorated the tree and the whole house that night! Now we are looking forward to Christmas!
