When we originally planned to the Huffing for Stuffing Run on Thanksgiving we had planned on Hyat doing the kids run. However, with our frigid temperatures that day we ended up skipping the kids run (0therwise, we would have been out in the cold for over 2 hours - which would guarnatee cold, crabby kids). So instead we convinced Hyat his race was at the end of ours. This meant we listed to him the entire time we were slogging through snow asking if he could run yet and trying to explain we still had a little far to go for him.
In the end we let run to the finish line, and he was excited to run his race! It was a lot of work to try to "run" in full winter gear and snow boots. But he looked cute doing it. Check it out here (he is the adorable little guy in the red jacket!):
